• ALL CARS MUST BE TECHED BY TRACK AND TECH CARDS HANDED INTO TRACK OFFICIAL AT TECH. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • We ask that you entirely fill in your tech card, it makes announcing more exciting for your fellow racers and for spectators
  • Dragsters and altereds will compete in Pro Comp if they meet the class criteria.
  • Sleds and motorcycles will compete in the class their time determines.
  • Qualifying is based on reaction time, two rounds of qualifying, three if time permits.
  • The best reaction time is the #1 qualifier, you will then be put on a sportsman ladder for eliminations.
  • Potential Bye run for Round 1 will go to the driver who is #1 qualifier (best reaction time).
  • A ladder will be generated after qualifying has ended. Once ladder is generated, if a racer receives more than one bye run, that bye run shall stand.
  • Bye run vehicles must stage under it’s own power.
  • Lane choice to best reaction time in the previous round.
  • Bracket Racing Aids – delay boxes, cross over boxes or any reaction time related time devices are strictly prohibited.
  • Tires must be slicks or drag radials.
  • NO throttle stops.
  • No buy backs.
  • DOUBLE CLASSING is permitted in Open/Pro Comp classes. In Trophy Comp, cars are permitted to double class, but not drivers. A different driver is to be used.
  • Courtesy staging will be in effect for all classes; by pre staging you have accepted the conditions of the race. (Double check board dial ins).
  • If during qualifying or eliminations you roll the beams when staging, you are automatically disqualified. You CANNOT back up and try again.
  • Any racer (or crew member of a racer) who tampers with any race related equipment, PTRA or track owned, will be disqualified from that days race. A second offense will result in a lifetime ban.
  • RAIN OUT POLICY: IN THE EVENT OF RAIN-OUT OR CURFEW, IF A CLASS HAS COMPLETED ITS FIRST ROUND OF ELIMINATIONS THE RACE WILL BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE AND WE WILL CONSULT WITH RACERS WHO ARE STILL ‘IN’ ON WHETHER THEY WANT A PARTIAL REFUND OR A RACER LOTTERY. IF A CLASS HAS NOT STARTED NOR COMPLETED ITS FIRST ROUND, WE WILL GIVE RACERS THE OPTION TO RECEIVE A PORTION OF THEIR TECH CARD MONEY BACK OR WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO BE PLACED IN A RACER LOTTERY. IF IT IS A 2 DAY RACE WEEKEND, AND THE RAIN-OUT OCCURS ON SATURDAY, WE WILL DOUBLE UP SUNDAYS PAYOUTS. IF A CLASS CANNOT COMPLETE THE CURRENT ROUND OF COMPETITION, PAYOUTS WILL BE SPLIT AND BASED ON PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED ROUND.
  • All vehicles subject to race officials inspection at any time.
  • IHRA safety rules apply. Race will be run under IHRA procedures unless otherwise stated.
  • All payouts will be made in Canadian dollars.
  • Payouts are made only after all eliminations are completed. All racers are encouraged to attend the awards ceremony. We have many prizes to give out and you must be present to win our illustrious “Winner of the Losers” prize!
  • Any disputes are left to the discretion of event officials.
  • Participants are expected, at all times, to conduct themselves in a professional and non-disruptive manner consistent with good sportsmanship in line with the PTRA’s role as a family-oriented sports organization with events suitable for attendance by all . Any participant who, in the sole and absolute judgment of the Series directors (1) verbally or physically threatens another person; (2) uses vulgar or derogatory language; (3) engages in unsportsmanlike conduct; (4) engages in conduct detrimental to the sport of racing; (5) otherwise creates a condition or circumstance that is unsafe, unfair, or out of order; or (6) otherwise violates any Series rule, regulation or agreement, shall have violated this rule regarding participant conduct and at the discretion of the directors will be disqualified from competition without refund.

After seeing the interest of delay box racers who want to come out and participate in the PTRA it has been decided to allow competitors with delay boxes to race. If a box cannot be removed it will be zero’d out by a Track/PTRA official.
